Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Saptarishi Vastu & Jyotish ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through saptarishivastu.com and in the course of providing consultations. We are based in Punjab, India — consultations worldwide, online.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you make an enquiry or book a consultation, we ask for:

• Your name — to address you and to identify your reading
• Your email address — to reply to you
• Your phone number — optional, only if you would rather we call you back
• Your date, time and place of birth — these are required to cast a birth chart. A reading cannot be prepared without them
• What you would like help with — whatever you choose to tell us about your situation

For a Vastu consultation you may also choose to send a floor plan, photographs, or the orientation of a property. You decide what to send.

Information collected automatically

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and carriesno advertising or tracking pixels. We do not build a profile of you and we cannot identify you from browsing alone.

Our host, Cloudflare, records standard server log data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type — for security, abuse prevention and delivery. This is ordinary infrastructure logging that we do not use to identify visitors.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To answer your enquiry and prepare your consultation. Without your birth details there is nothing to read. Where required by law, our basis is the performance of a contract with you, or your consent
• To keep a record of work done, so that we can refer back if you return with a follow-up question
• To meet legal or accounting obligations where they apply

We do not sell your information. We do not share it for marketing. We do not send marketing email unless you have asked us to.

Who else handles it

Only the service providers needed to run the site and receive mail:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery and email routing. Data may be processed on servers outside India
• Our email provider — messages sent to us are delivered to and stored in our email inbox

We may disclose information if we are legally required to do so. Otherwise, what you tell us in a consultation stays between us.

Confidentiality

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence and consultation records are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and to handle any follow-up, and then deleted. If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so unless we are required to retain it by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, for visitors in the UK and European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR — you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
• Have inaccurate information corrected
• Have your information deleted
• Withdraw consent you previously gave
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Complain to your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these, write to contact@saptarishivastu.com. We will respond within the period required by the law that applies to you, and in any case without undue delay.

Children

Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Where a reading is requested for a child, we expect the request to come from a parent or legal guardian.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send us anything more sensitive than the details we have asked for — we never need your financial account details, passwords, or identity documents.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
